[Ring, ring] Bring out your dead ... [Ring, ring]


As a follow up to my post on "Looking Ahead—retro minis," I asked Beckett's Chris Olds about T206. He tweeted that it's dead.

    I guess Topps is banking on Gypsy Queen taking up the slack of 206. To be honest I can't say that I'll miss 206 much.

    the hatless look I think turned many off, and Topps probably should have seen that with the coolness to the same look in the Heritage. Too many guys without hats.
